Kevin T. Caiaccio, member of the State Bar of Georgia since 1995 and native Atlantan, concentrates his practice in all aspects of Commercial Real Estate law. He is married and resides in Sandy Springs with his wife and daughter.

Experience

As sole practitioner of his boutique law firm, Mr. Caiaccio founded his firm in 2006 after becoming a partner in the Commercial Real Estate Group at Schreeder, Wheeler and Flint, a mid-sized, full service law firm in downtown Atlanta. As a leading expert in the field of Commercial Real Estate, Mr. Caiaccio is a frequent lecturer and blogger [link to my blog] on topics involving real estate law. His expertise extends as well to the business side of real estate investment as a result of his long-standing relationships with sponsors, lenders, developers and investors.

Education

Mr. Caiaccio earned his J.D. degree cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1995 where he was a member of the Managing Board and the Editorial Board of the Georgia Law Review. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgia State University where he attended on a varsity golf scholarship, graduating magna cum laude in 1991.

Areas of Distinction

• Mr. Caiaccio has been awarded an AV Peer Review Rating by LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell—the highest rating that can be achieved by an attorney—which demonstrates that the attorney is recognized for the highest levels of skill, integrity, and professionalism.
• While in law school, Mr. Caiaccio served as a member of the Managing Board, 1993-1994, and was on the Editorial Board, 1994-1995, for the Georgia Law Review. He is the author of Howard v. Babcock, The Business of Law vs. the Ethics of Lawyers: Are Noncompetition Covenants Among Law Partners Against Public Policy? 28 Ga. L. Rev. 807 (1993-1994)

In his personal time Mr. Caiaccio enjoys fly fishing, hiking, golf and chess.
